That's right everyone! Time for my first review ever. I'm super excited. Unfortunately, because my computer is a butt, there are none of my pictures. Sigh. Oh well, until next time.
So, during my shopping trip today, I decided to find a new cleanser for my face. Since winter is upon us up here in Columbus, I need something to moisturize AND clean my face. So, I picked up this little gem right here -- Garnier Nutritioniste Moisture Rescue Fresh Cleansing Foam, with grape and apple water extract, it can't be that bad, right? After all, I do love me some apples.
Now, I'm extremely skeptical about cream cleansers. Even though the tube says 'Fresh Cleansing Foam', the packaging suggests it would be a cream. Like so many people out there, I prefer a rich lather. I equate that with cleanliness.
When it comes out of the tube, it's a thick, viscous cream. Once you start washing though, it foams right up -- a good sign, since most of these kinds of washes I've used don't foam up enough for my liking.
After washing and patting my face dry, it felt clean, and just a tad tight, though the tightness wore off after a few minutes.
Overall, a good product for the cheap price I got it at ( $3.49 on sale with coupons and a 20% off discount card, yay! ). Not something that makes me feel super moisturized, but it's not terrible, either. And it smells pretty darn good, too.
Would I repurchase it? ;; Yes.
Where you can buy it ;; Your local drugstore or supermarket.
Normal Price ;; $5.99

The glasses I'm getting!
Well, since my dumb laptop ate the SD card -- admittedly my fault -- I don't get to post the pictures of my drugstore haul. I'm also going shopping tomorrow (yay for coupons) so we'll see if I end up with anything tomorrow.
Anyways, the eye exam took two and a half hours, because I told them I was getting horrible headaches lately. My prescription went up, too. Boo. Oh well. I get my glasses in two weeks.
These! Nautica N8059 in Jet Black. Yes, they're men's frames, but I adore large frame glasses. They actually look really good -- you'll have pictures when they come in. And for the price I paid at the School of Optometry versus what it would be for a shop in the mall, I am completely alright with waiting.
What do you think?

Getting glasses tomorrow + my first haul.
Yes, you read that right. Tomorrow is going to be a big day, guys!
At 1pm, I'm going to be going to get an eye exam done -- finally! I lost my favorite pair of Vogue glasses back in college. They were purple, and had the cutest little heart on the side. I haven't been able to get a new pair because my prescription has been out of date.
However, now that we have health insurance again, I'm going to get that fixed. After the exam, I'm going to pick out a new pair. I'm hoping for a nice pair of hipster-looking glasses. I'm a sucker for large and colorful frames. Hopefully it will help my headaches, since I'm always at the computer.
After all of that, I'm finally going shopping for myself. I'm in desperate need of more product in pretty much every category! So, I'll be sure to show you guys my haul tomorrow, and after that, let the reviewing begin! I'm super excited to get this blog started.
Have any recommendations to give me concerning products? Let me know! I'm always up for trying new items.

Hey there, everyone! My name is Gussie Halloran, and this? This here is my blog.
What is going to be included in Gussie It Up? Well, I'm a cosplayer. I'm big into cosplay makeup, sewing, and progress. But mainly, this will be a bath and beauty blog. I will do reviews of products that I adore and use a lot, AS WELL AS cosplay updates. Because for me, these two go hand in hand.
If I want to look good in my costume, I have to have good makeup.
Thanks for taking interest, and I hope you enjoy it here!
